Having read much about what is known about the man, Shakespeare, I have for a long time questioned the authorship of the plays and sonnets.

Visiting Scholar-in-Residence, Faculty of Arts, University of Alberta. As Canada's most-performed librettist, I cannot believe the Stratford man was the author.

Why aren't there examples of his handwriting if he wrote the plays?

I find it credible to doubt that the man from Stratford was the author William Shakespeare.

Judging the evidence as presented, I believe strongly that Mr Shakspere is not the author of the plays attributed to William Shakespeare.
